Your Support Network

Events to inspire and nourish

In addition to my personalised doula care packages, I also run a variety of different events that support mothers and families.

All of my events are centred around two goals that are very close to my heart:

  1. Offering nourishment to mothers in a safe space
This may be through tips and guidance or literal nourishment through delicious Ayurvedic recipes and cooking.

  2. Facilitating supportive friendships
Bringing like-minded mothers together so that they can begin to form strong, supportive friendships.

You can read a little about the type of events I host below. Follow me on Facebook or Instagram to stay up to date with all upcoming events.

Heart of Motherhood
Workshops

I offer different workshops throughout the year, often in collaboration with other experts in postpartum care. These workshops usually include a blend of tasty treats, self-care and healing guidance, and Q&A sessions.

2

Mothers' Mornings
Coffee & Chat

My mothers’ mornings are a community space for mothers at all stages in their postpartum journey to meet, chat, and enjoy a cuppa. Babies are always welcome here, so no need to worry about organising childcare.

Mothering the Mother
Sacred Circles

There is huge power in the gathering of women within a safe space where they can share and support each other. My Mothering the Mother circles are designed to be tailored to suit small groups of mamas at different stages of motherhood.

Custom Baby Shower Events

These events are all about nurturing and supporting an expectant mama. A refreshing - and practical - alternative to typical baby showers.

My Nourishing Baby Shower offers your friends and family an opportunity to combine the fun of a gathering with preparing a selection of delicious, Ayurvedic-centred meals for your freezer ahead of your little one’s arrival.

So many new parents say that gifts of home-cooked food are the most appreciated in those first few weeks postpartum. With this kind of baby shower, you’ll have a freezer full of hearty, healing meals ready to go.

NEVER MISS AN EVENT

I always share any upcoming workshops, mothers' mornings, and Mothering the Mother circles on my social channels. They are the best place to stay connected with what’s happening in my community.

The Village

A Return to True Support Networks for Parents

My work with newly postpartum families keeps me very busy, so you might wonder why I place so much emphasis on building a community through events.

For me, the answer is very simple: we were never supposed to parent alone.

When our parents and grandparents were raising babies and small children, things were very different. Support for parents was naturally there through close knit communities of families sharing and helping each other out.

I see, and feel, a wish to return to that structure of a village.

Every event I host is centred around building and encouraging those connections so that mamas within my little community never feel alone and find supportive friends who will be there for them as they raise their little ones alongside one another.
