Frequently
Asked
Questions

1 / What areas do you cover?

Based in beautiful Co. Wicklow, I mainly work in person with families in Wicklow and South Dublin. I am always open to working further afield if circumstances allow.

2 / Do you only work with women directly after birth?

Although the majority of my work is during those first 42 days after a new arrival, I absolutely can, and do work with mothers at alternative times.
My Gather package and Baby Shower Meal Prep gatherings are so popular with mamas-in-waiting.
If you're only finding me following your first 42 days and feel in need of some nourishing care and support, please do get in touch. My approach of "mothering the mother" is beneficial at any time.

3 / Can you offer a shorter or longer package than those shown      on your website?

Yes; the packages I list on the site have been designed based on what I have found most families need.
However, every situation is unique and I am very happy to work with you to create a tailored postpartum care experience that fits your needs.

4 / Do you cater for different dietary requirements?

Yes, absolutely. During our first call, we can chat about any dietary requirements or priorities you have.

5 / Do you offer postpartum massage treatments?

While I am not trained to give massage treatments, I am trained to demonstrate how to carry them out for you and for your little one. If you are seeking some therapeutic postpartum massage treatments, I can recommend experts I know and trust.

6 / Are you registered with the Doula Association of Ireland?

Yes, I have been a member since I began working as a doula. In fact, as of 2025 I am a member of the DAI’s management committee

7 / Are the meals you prepare only for the mother, or are they        for the whole family?

Although my Ayurvedic centred meals will be designed with the goal of providing healing and nurturing for the mother, they can be enjoyed by the whole family.
I can also cook other family friendly meals instead of, or alongside the meals on my meal plan.

8 / Are you flexible with the timing of your 4-hour visits?

Yes; I normally work in the mornings but can offer some afternoons. I will be happy to work out the best schedule for your visits during your initial consultation.

9 / Do you sell your healing sets as products on their own?

My Ayurvedic Healing Sets are Included with my 4 Core Postpartum Doula Care Packages and as part of my nourishing baby shower events.
As these healing sets are specialised and require a demonstration on how to use and gain maximum benefit from each element, I don’t usually offer them as a standalone product. They can, however be added on for an additional fee for both of my Taster Packages. This option may work if you are interested in a Healing Set, but unsure if you require a postpartum doula care package.

10 / Do you attend births?

No. Although I offer a prenatal Taster Package, Gather, which takes place before your baby’s arrival, my focus is primarily on postpartum care for new mothers.

11 / Can you visit me in hospital?

Yes, I can. In fact, some mamas choose to have their first visit with me in hospital. My advice on this is to check with the hospital you are attending to ensure they can facilitate this.

12 / Can I book a newborn craniosacral therapy session with you?

Yes. Craniosacral therapy sessions for babies can be included for any of my postpartum care packages. They can also be booked separately as standalone treatments.
